Butterfly
World Dome
New exhibition building for Butterfly World, featuring an earth bermed structure, green roof, water recycling, heat recovery and the use of ecological materials.
Phase One was completed with the opening of Future Gardens on June 4th. Phase Two will see an ETFE roof installed on the already completed walls to create a habitat for tropical butterflies. The dome is due to be populated with butterflies in 2010-11.
