Letchworth Garden City Design Competition

Shortlisted entry for the Letchworth Garden City Design Competition for a sustainable housing development.

Our design combines the characterisitcs of a garden city including its easy access to nature with the demands for creating high density living that is zero CO2 to provide a solution for a high quality of life.

The design succeeds in creating a green and car-free development by providing underground car parking which is made affordable by the increased number of housing units on the site. Other features of the developement include zero CO2 construction, the use of closed loop materials and food production on site.
